In three new episodes, we follow Philip Freriks and a team of experts on their mission to unravel the stories behind photo albums belonging to unknown World War II soldiers. Armed only with the photo albums as evidence, the experts act as historical detectives to uncover the identity of the albums’ creators. What did these soldiers go through, and what does that teach us about the history of the Second World War?
